Basically a step up from a classic Senior role that simply manages the design and delivery to a broader role encompassing client development and team management.
The planned pathway for this role is to take over a small team of 3-4 Engineers, basically owning your own projects and running with them. Further training will be provided to upskill you in terms of financial accountability for a small cost center as well as people management.
You will also have access to broader company strategy and be included in meetings about client acquisition and marketing as well as broader policies that will affect how you run your team.
What is nice about this option is they are still at a size (40 staff) where there is potential to expand their civil team and add other specialist areas. They are already looking into adding a construction arm in order to offer a full service to clients.
They are also moving to a profit sharing model which means all staff will received end of year bonuses, minimum 2k per annum, senior staff can expect anywhere up to 8k per annum.
Projects- defence, industrial, aged and health care, oublic domain, roads, urban development.
Requires; Civil Engineering Degree and at least 8-12 years’ experience in the civil consulting space in Sydney.
