About you:
You’re a qualified Civil Engineer with about 8 years’ experience in Urban Development & storm water. You feel as though your career has slowed down, and the prospect of a promotion seems far in the distance. Perhaps you’re content where you are, but are simply looking for a change.
You’re a strong leader, with a cool head, and aspire to be a better engineer, leader and mentor every day. You’re passionate about guiding younger staff and leading by example, ensuring you work together as a team. You are an encouraging & strong communicator, eager to liaise with stakeholders throughout the course of your projects.
A day in the life:
As a vital part of a highly skilled civil team, you will spend your days using current & emerging engineering techniques to deliver successful solutions to clients. These projects will consist of a mix of industrial warehousing, multi-unit commercial developments, residential, public domain and bespoke developments.
You will play an important role in supporting the section manager and team leader in running a skilled and successfull team and be responsible for ensuring junior staff complete their tasks to high standards and provide mentoring/training on a day to day basis. On occasion you will be invited to attend training to further develop your skill in management.

The nitty gritty
This role requires 8-10 years relevant industry experience in Australia, alongside a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience using Excel, DRAINS, MUSIC. HEC-RAS, Civil 3D, ARD or 12D are also highly regarded, and will be looked upon favorably.
